The Honourable Campbell J. Miller
Educated at the University of Ottawa (LL.B. 1977) and Cambridge University (LL.M. (First Class) 1987). Called to the Bar of Alberta 1978. Appointed Queen’s Counsel 1996. Partner, Bishop and McKenzie, Edmonton (1978-2001), specializing in corporate tax, estate planning, and independent business practice. Prior to his appointment, taught taxation law in both the Business and Law Faculties of University of Alberta and was a frequent presenter at professional conferences, including the Bar Admission Course of the Law Society of Alberta and conferences sponsored by the Legal Education Society of Alberta and Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Sits on the Rules Committee of the Tax Court and is past chairman of the Education Committee. Appointed Judge of the Tax Court of Canada on January 10, 2001.
