Replacing the former Electronic legal service and electronic filing Notice, dated July 21, 2009, this Notice amends the e-filing initiative by allowing parties to file documents directly to the Court via a new e-filing application on the Court’s web site commencing on March 1, 2013. At this time, there is no transaction fee for this service, though the tariffs under the Rules continue to apply. This Notice also clarifies the form of consent for documents to be served electronically.

Any document served electronically in accordance with the directives in the annex to this Notice will be considered served in accordance with the Federal Courts Rules. Any document filed electronically in accordance with the directives in the attached annex will be considered filed in accordance with the Federal Courts Rules.
